Christina Yao Lee
Christina Yao Lee is co-host and co-creator of the Gritty Girls Podcast as well as the executive producer of Medical Discovery News, a radio program dedicated to explaining biomedical discoveries and their promise for the future of medicine. Prior to these two projects, she spent over a decade in television news as a reporter, most recently at KHOU-TV, the CBS affiliate in Houston, Texas. What she finds most satisfying about Gritty Girls is the opportunity to learn as well as the chance to nurture a community of listeners who are as interested as she is in examining ideas and how they impact our lives. She lives in Houston, Texas with her husband and two delightful boys.
Leslie Campbell
Leslie Campbell is co-host and co-creator of the Gritty Girls Podcast as well as the owner of an outdoor products company, Outdoor Use Only™. Before jumping into entreprenuership and podcasting, she worked as a graphic designer for 14 years. Her favorite thing about Gritty Girls is being able to provide a space for all opinions to be heard and to help people find common ground on controversial issues. Creating an open, safe dialogue and being willing to listen to those whom we disagree with, she believes, is the key to unifying a nation that is divided. She lives in the country outside the Houston city limits with her husband, son, daughter and two crazy dogs.
